  1. Already have it.  My husband and I are dorks - we'd rather stay home and watch TV or play video games than go out or go on expensive vacations so we splurged on the nice TV.

  2. Not ready in the least.

I guess I'll end up watching Gilligan's Island reruns...ON VHS!!!

  3. don't have it. am not ready

  4. have had it since 2001 via ota antenna.

time warner cables hd offerings are so over-compressed they don't even look like hd. i have heard good and bad about dish & direct hd hope its better than cable

  5. Are you researching or just bored? Regardless of the answer, TV Electronics is the wrong forum. Try Y/A's "Entertainment & Music-Polls & Surveys." You'll love it there and they will love you!

  6. Samsung DLP 1080p with HD programming and all run over HDMI.  I'd say I'm ready...

  7. have it already. 1080p hdtv, dish hd programming, and component cables.

  8. I've been enjoying HDTV since 2002. (Yes I really did pay $750 for my first DirecTV HD receiver) I can never go back to Standard programming!

  9. If you can afford money, buy it or wait for some time - the prices will come down. But, check whether your area is already covered by digital broadcasting. If not, don't buy, because by the time there comes a digital broadcasting, the market will be flooded with advanced versions of HDTVs.

Of course, there will be other benefits of HDTVs which you can enjoy.

  10. no, i got a standard CRT tv, works fine for me, i dont use HD, im gunna wait till they are cheaper or bring something better out then buy HD cuz it will be cheaper :)
