  1. I went out with a girl who is rh negative and she was really upset about it. I found out later that my mother was. I think complications might arise but I turned out okay. See a bonafide website about it and you'll learn a lot.

  2. yes. i am. im not sure why its so rare. i always get calls from the blood center to donate.

  3. because rh- and rh+ people can take your blood. also AB- and AB+ people can too. also B- and B+, too.

  4. I'm O-.  Your blood doesn't have the positive antibody....and RH- people has to receive RH- blood

O- negative is used in the ER for emergency transfusions.  Your blood type will be used for people that need it.  RH- is in demand everywhere.

BTW...someone posted about RH- & childbirth.  It does pose a problem if the baby is RH+ & the mother RH-.  My son was extremely jaundice and the Rhogam shot is necessary to ensure future pregnancies are not in jeapordy.

  5. yep im rh b negative too and it is a rare one so they dont have many in the blood banks,i had to have a transfusion not only do i have a rare blood type but a blood disorder too where i lack platlets theyre the clotting agencys(unrelated to each other just unlucky i suppose)and instead of waiting for them to fetch the blood and warm it through for me i had to wait hours while they got donators and screened their blood.not being able to donate blood myself i am eternally grateful to those who can and do i have needed their kindness on too many occations.

  6. im the same as u

  7. I am B+ and I just think it is one of the more common types of blood.   I donate blood just to know I am helping someone who needs blood I think everyone should.

  8. 7 % worldwide have RH-

    1% Asians have it.

  9. AB positive...why wouldn't you want to donate?  It is an unselfish gesture that could save someone's life...you have rare blood (in case you didn't know)...

  10. I am a RH- (A negative). If you have Rh-positive blood, you can receive Rh-positive or Rh-negative red blood cell transfusions. But people with Rh-negative blood should only get Rh-negative red blood cells, except in emergencies.
