Are you sad the olympics are almost over?

I am...I'll be 21 the next time around, and it makes me really sad for some reason...knowing that it won't be the same watching them in 2012 as it was in 2008 and 2004 is depressing

I'm REALLY sad Gymnastics ended, and 4 years from know, it will be a bunch of different girls..and possibly but unlikely Nastia & Shawn

Anyone else sad that they are almost over?

Im sad that Ill have to wait another 4 years to watch the Olympics again. But maybe College Football,the NFL, NCAA Basketball,and the NBA will make me forget about it quickly. The Winter Olympics are boring but the Summer Olympics are great and exciting to me. Ill be sad for a little bit. Ill be 23 during the next Olympics ill be old : (

It is true that there will be nothing to watch on tv next week but the Winter Olympics are coming up in 2010. It is also time to take a vacation to Lake Placid or Salt Lake and go bobsledding, speedskating, luge, etc. This way you don't have to wait 4 years or even 2 years for the next Olympics. You just have to make your life the Olympics.

I thought I was the only person that was seriousley sad yesterday during the closing ceremony! I mean, now that I was on vacation from school, I would watch the olympics all morning and stay up till 2:30 am, watching them at night, too. I dont know why, but there is always that feeling..I dont know how to explain it but it's kind of like "man, they barely started and now it's already over" or " now we have to wait for four more years..". I guess I just get sad because I start wondering "Will they be back in four years? Will it be the same?"..

It wont feel the same in four years.. and there is no way anyone can compare with the show China put on! It was awesome!! =]

yes i'm very sad to see it ending because BBC1 will be c**p without it next week back to the old rubbish problems its not fair taking off the olympics and put the usual rubbish back on

well not really it is great though and i love watching the intro

but i'm basically only intrested and hyped for track and field

I can't wait to watch the men's marathon!

Normally I would be, but letting China host the Olympics is much worse than when they had it in Hitler's Germany (this time there was no doubt about the genocidal animals being the host, while Hitler's Germany hosted the Winter Olympics before the true nature of Nazism was widely known) so this was a major shame from the beginning.
