  1. At 73 I look forward to the next experience with great anticipation as when I was much younger. Maybe even more now that I have realized that all life is experienced in mind and by my controlling mind though choice I can have a much more fulfilling experience. The experience with Deity has broadened my understanding to bring into play a cosmic awareness not available to me when I was a younger man. A gift of age I suspect.

I give credit to Deity and my finding the Urantia Papers early enough in life to gain from its knowledge and insights. My goal in the rest of the time left to me on this planet is to make others aware of the papers and that is about all one can do in life, sharing the values one has to share.

  2. Nope!

"I may not know what the future holds, but I know what holds the future!"

  3. ive been waiting my whole life for it

  4. Yes and No... Im scared that I will fail in something I really wanting to do.. but also the future will be very exciting and interesting as I dont know what might happen. and ANYTHING can happen.

  5. Certainly not!

I AM somewhat fearful, to a rational extent I would argue, of some of the possible EVENTS that may occur in the future and may be harmful to myself, my family and others. To avoid those negative events, to the extent that I have some power over the course of the future, I will attempt to take action in order to avoid them.  But I have no fear of the inevitable fact of the passage of time itself.

I feel the same way about the past, there being events in the past that I am fearful of, but I don't worry about those things at all, because they have already happened.

  6. These days more so than ever. I was at the hospital just a few days ago, cos i wanted to commit suicide. I don't really know where to go from here but i'm trying my best . The problem is i have noone ;-(

  7. ...not really, i planned for mine...its the unseen future i prepare myself for...

  8. seams to be the only context in which fear makes sense…

  9. YES, because i don't know what it holds but i'm not going to spend every day worrying about it.

  10. Yes.   Particularly if McCain is elected and continues Bush's policies that are ruining the American economy and making Haliburton and the oil companies ever-richer.

  11. No it's what I want most and being stuck like I am presently in life is what I fear the most.  Aswell as living the almost exact same mediocre moments over and over again.

  12. Not really.  I look forward to it eagerly.  A little trepidation is always there in the background,  of course!

  13. No, because Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow. Today has enough trouble of its own.
