Are you scared of thunder and lightening ?

There is thunder, lightening and really heavy rain where I live right now, and its quite scary Hahaa, Ill be staying in tonight :)

i use to be scared of it, all the way until i was like 15 i would go in my moms room if it started storming at night and make a pallet right next to her bed, but now i love them, and actually go outside to watch them.

I love it. I usually go outside and sit on the porch during a thunderstorm just to see the lightening.

thunder and lightning are so awesome!!! as long as they dont cause any damage, i love them!!! the lightning streaks across the sky and looks so awesome. im not extremely fond of the really really loud thunder though. it hurts my ears.

There is nothing to be afraid of, the noise can't hurt you and you never know if you get hit by the lightning, ;-)

no, i love it, if i get chance i'll go outside and find somewhere sheltered to watch it.

although i did get caught one day on some fairly high ground during a storm, i had an umbrella with a metal tip but needless to say i put it down quickly and made for lower ground, that was a bit scary.

I absolutely love thunder and lightning.  I've loved weather since I was 3 years old and I guess I am just amazed by it.  To me there is nothing better than model watching for potential events and then tracking the system and doing writeups and looking at the potential.  Then finally the day of the possible event you radar watch and look at latest data and watch the line of storms develop and head your direction.  Then as it approaches your area you go outside and watch it come at you then you sit in the car and just watch the lightning and listen to the thunder and hopefully you see some strong winds and hail as well.

it used 2 b my no.1 phobia bu im kinda gettin ovr it (a bit) bu i got it from when we wer in spain and our villa was @ like a top of dis mountain and weh it thundered the house used to slighty shake i used to brick myself!

It doesn't bother me, but it does scare a lot of people.  You're not alone!  But there's really no reason to be scared.  It's just noise and a little bit of flashing light.  Turn up your radio and you might not even notice it!
