Question:

Are you sick and tired of the stupid release dates for DVDs and games?

I hate it when DVDs and games come in a few days early and stores wont sell them because they have to honor the release date. That pisses me off. Just sell the item. It's really just teasing to have a product behind doors that people want and refuse to sell them until a certain date. It's a cheap marketing hype tactic that is beyond silly. I wish people would boycott the next big-ticket item that pulls this stunt. It's just annoying and it's even more of a pain to deal with clerks who think they are awesome because they have some sort of power for holding the product.

  1. So what if they hold it? Cheap marketing hype?  Do tell me, how is that? No one advertises "We have the dvd, but wont sell it until tuesday". They clearly state the release date. If they sell before the authorized release date, they could possibly lose the right to be a distributor, and that's not good business.

How on earth does someone see some conspiracy theory in something as silly as this?

You know what's funny about this little rant of yours?  You're still gonna end up buying it anyway.
