If the sum of Ali and Ahmad's age is 3 years and 6 months...

how old is Ali and how old is Ahmad is if told you that Ali is older than Ahmad in 3 years ???

Unless, of course, this is a trick question that only people who know who Ali and Ahmad are can answer.

Ali will be TWICE older than Ahmad in 3 years (That's what I think you're saying).

Unless, you mean the other way.  

Like they both were born on the same day, 3 years apart.

Then now is three months after their birthday.

That makes Ali 3 years and 3 months and Ahmad 3 months.

Ali will always be exactly 3 years older(no counting that extra day on leap year).
