i love receiving flowers off my fiance,

not because they make things better but because hes obviously trying 2 make things better!

however id prefer 2 get them just to say i love u rather than 2 say im sorry

I love flowers, any flowers, oh wait i don't like Oriental lily's they smell horrible but they are beautiful. And i don't care what the reason is for receiving flowers always happy to get them. Ok, not for a funeral.

I love getting flowers!!!! But believe it must be for the heck of it, some surprise or show of affection. Not to make amends.

However bringing me flowers will make me melt just a lil bit!

I'm not a flower person. For me it makes things worse. Beside the reason you received flowers, let's say you got some bad news, you now have to look at these poor flowers dying a slow death. Now the same goes for when you receive flowers for something good, let's say you got a promotion, it takes away some of that happiness, because once again the poor flowers are dying a slow death.

Why not give something else, anything but flowers.

Flowers are beautiful in a garden still attached to the plant. If you absolutely have to give flowers, give artificial ones. They don't give hay fever and they last much longer.

I usually give people that I know like plants, a plant.

Do you mean after you and your husband had a fight? And he sends a huge bouquet of flowers? Well I love flowers and do appreciate them as gifts, but I think nowadays it is senseless spending so much money for a decent bouquet, you have to spend at least r 500 to send a decent bunch of flowers to some one. I love flowers in the garden better. But flowers can never make things worse only better. i did once see on Tv a flower service where you can send a box of dead roses to some one you do not like......a bit sick.
