Are you suppose to eat a certain way at prom?

Never mind worrying about prom.  Pay less attention to dances, and more attention to your English class.  I would think that the ability to speak proper English will get you farther than the ability to get dressed up and dance.  There is a problem with your verb.  Thanks.
