Are you supposed to hear the Playstation 2 Slim?

My Ps2 slim seems to be louder than before. ( The sound of the Ps2 working, not volume ) Could it be that the Cd scanner thing is not working properly and is making louder sounds? Thanks

nope don't suppose to hear any thing while the ps2 is on if you do time to get another one   :)ava06

sometimes mine does it too.

but it works fine.  the Cd games are not scratched at all.

try putting it on a flat place.

it culd be some dust in it.

mine makes really loud loading noises when i put in movies

Sometimes they do make a clicking noise depends on the game or it could need a good cleaning out try a can of compressed air to spray in there. The slim ps2 do not have built in fans like the fat ps2 so they tend to go bad from heating up.
