  1. It is ok to do this because we all makemistakes when we don't know about things, but make sure you don't do it any more. Interefering too much could discourage the parents from nesting at all. Don't bother it any more until you know they don't want the eggs anymore. Otherwise you may blow any chances of these eggs hatching at all. Let the birds from now on worry about how clean the inside of the box is.

  2. The eggs will hatch in due time, you should not be messing with the nest at all especially if this is thier first clutch. It is a very stressful time for your birds. I recommend talking to your vet on the proper care of baby birds. You should really not breed birds unless you know how to take care of them if the parents fail to do so. They are very fragile and demanding. I wish you the best.

  3. OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO CHECK THEM BECAUSE YOU NEED TO KNOW IF THERES BABYS IN THERE

  4. Leave the parents alone when they breed and again when the hen lays egg's. Never touch the egg's, look from a distance at the parents to ensure both are okay, but pretty much leave them alone except for feeding and watering the parents.

Often new parents aren't sure what to do, but what ever they do, let them. What you don't want to do is upset them, they may break all the egg's.

Mean time you need to read and learn all about breeding birds, egg binding, aggressive males during breeding season, proper avian diet, what to do if the parents abandon the hatch-lings, how to hand fed babies, if you have to, incubator's and correct temperature's to keep egg's, then hatch lings.
