I thought just paper was supposed to be recycled separately, but one of my teachers said that you can also recycle paper towels and tissue (kleenex) paper in the same recycling bin as well, but is that really true?

  4. Yeah! What do think, it's organic. Save a tree. Think globally act locally. I recycle my toilet paper so they can make brown paper bags.

  5. You can only recycle the paper towel rolls and the Kleenex box, not the actual used paper towel and Kleenex.

  6. we were told not to here.

i suspect that the fibers in tissue are softened so that reusing them doesn't work well.

i'm aware that people do put 'em in the recycle bin.

in fact, they put all sorts of stuff in the recycle bin

i suspect that the recycler just has to throw them away, making his job harder and more expensive.

  7. True.  I recycle all paper, including toilet paper.

  8. We have one big blue bin and I never know what the heck to put in there so we just put the soda cans and milk jugs and it's usually filled up every week.  I don't even know if I can put paper in that thing...They might take it out and throw it on my lawn and then I'd be really PO'd.

    Basically, I don't know.

  9. I hope you dont really recycle tp that is f888 nasty lol

  10. yep
