Are you supposed to tip pizza delivery people?

Sure, they count on their tips to make it. Round it off to the nearest five, or ten, if it's a big order. They gotta buy their own gas and pay for their own car mantinance. Not cheap.

no because if you do they would tell the other people who work with that person and tell them to come back to your door and deliver your pizza to you ever time you order for m them the delivery man would be at your door with their hand out.

I normally give like $3 or 4 bucks depending on how generous I feel.. They saved me a lot of trouble, I really appreciate delivery drivers!!

I tried to tip the delivery drivers of the big jump houses, but they wouldn't take the money, but they did take one of my husband's beers..

To answer this question I will have you answer this. If you were a delivery person that was responsible for getting someones dinner to them on time and hot do you feel when you ring the bell they should give you a little something.If that family was sitting inside of the restaurant and you brought them there wings, bread sticks, pizza,and cinnamon sticks, would you expect something for your service.By the way I prefer to eat my pizza in. How much would depend on what you have and what you would expect if you were the delivery guy. I think that is fair!

Yes, it's nice to give the pizza delivery person a small top ranging from $1-$3. Trust me, they'll appreciate it considering what they're paid, and it will insure prompt service the next time you order pizza.

food deliverers should be tiped. not people like fedex of somethng. for food delivery it depends on how much you ordered

yes.  I usually base it on how fast they got there/how big my order was.  on a $20 bill that got there pretty fast I'll give the guy 4 or 5 bucks.  For furniture deliver I usually give them 10-20 depending on how much stuff they had to haul and if they needed me to help them or not

Yes you are. Their pay is based on people tipping them. If you plan on ordering from the some place more than once I would suggest you tip unless you want something extra on your food. I typically tip 15-20% as I would at a restaurant depending on how fast it was delivered.

For Sure -- think of it this way -- they are working for tips... with the gas prices the way they are, they are saving you the hassle of running to get the pizza -- so tip them a few bucks and make their day. If its there really fast I tip more, if its a big order i tip more..

Yes, you should tip pizza delivery people.  You should never give less than a couple of dollars.  If the delivery was extra fast, tip more.  I've found that if you are ordering a lot from the same place, the delivery gets better and faster if you are a good tipper.  I'm sure the delivery people talk amongst themselves!

As far as pizza delivery people, yes and no.  If they get there super fast, yes.  If they're super slow, I'd say no.  As far as how much, I base it off of how much I spent.

Yes. Ten percent of your bill is the correct amount to tip. I'm a waitress and hate it when I get stiffed. You have no idea how much it will do for you in the future. Behind the scenes there have been all out fights over big tippers and who was going to serve or deliver to them. A great tipper will get great servise trust me.
