  1. I don't think they do. My cat is striped and I used to get him shaved up until recently. The only places he had hair left was on his legs, head and end of his tail. His skin was a solid color, despite his striped fur.


  2. Yes you can part the hair of a cat and see that it does not have stripes. although dark cats will have dark skin and a light cat will have light skin. the stripes have to do with the end pigment but the roots of most hairs are the same color.

  3. yes stripped domestic cats do not have stripped skin as well as fur.
