  1. Not really, because it's too hyped. Do I think it's possible, yes, but who's to say that it might be part of Earth's "normal" cycle?

  2. I don't take global warming seriously and I am tired of those who assume that they have the truth.  As far as the environment all people should take care of the environment but from my experience those who scream the loudest do the least they just like to have attention.

  3. Hey,  i like being warm.

  4. I`m sorry but theres nothing you or I can do to stop the effect of global warming, the other thing is why do you think the government are pushing this so hard ,could it be the fines that are going to be impossed if we don`t cut down on land fill, could it be the contracts that have to be bought of them for wind farms to be built.could it be the rise in council tax to pay for the governments missmanagement of our taxes and pensionsor even the tax on fuel at 70% that goes straight ot the gov.The USA pays £1.40 per gallon for petrol, we pay £5.30 per gallon  It`s not the price of oil or the lack of it.theres lots of other things that being green and recyclingdoes to raise funds for the gov but it would take all day but just think for a momment and tell me that what I`ve stated isn`t true.

  5. I take global warming very seriously. We as individuals can try to make sensible reductions in our usage of power but compared with international demands for power I guess we will not change anything sad for future generations xx

  6. All of a sudden, everyone is going green. I thought we started this back in the 70's with changing cars to unleaded fuel, cleaner burning lignite coal power plants, nuclear power plants, wind generated electricity, the list goes on.

Are they saying all that did no good? It must have done some good, didn't it?

Sort of like the hole in the ozone, we don't have records of weather older than 100 years or so.

    So, No, not really.

  7. As I answer this question, it is -31 degrees out.  That's about 50 degrees below the average for this time of year and a all-time record low temperature for this date.  No, I'm not taking it seriously for a number of reasons.  1.  The apparent spokesman for global warming has a bigger carbon footprint than 10 average people.  2.  There is scientific data that clearly shows climate trends over the last 400k years, and we appear to be  in line with those trends at this time.  3.  Several local weather forecasters, who are all trained meteorologists, agree that it is just a normal cycle of the Earth.  These are scientists who aren't looking to grab any federal grants or push some sort of political agenda.  4.  Nobody has given me an acceptable explanation as to how they know the the temperatures aren't supposed be rising, if indeed, they are.  The climate has been changing throughout the billions of years of this planets existence.  Why should it stop now?  5.  Go back to my opening statement.  Brrrrrrrrr.

  8. i rekon

it shouldve been taken care of ages ago

but the stupid govt didnt do any S**t about it

until they found out it affects the Economy.

like they wont get off their asses if it doesnt concern money

  9. I am taking global warming seriously, I am how ever taking the effect of man's co2's on the environment with a big pinch of salt.

    Ja.

  10. yeah nah i totally agree i mean they had that 7.7.07 concert for what?

i think the need to put ads on the tv or something that has tips and way you can prevent power usage etc i mean i know it the whole "walk to work if you can etc" but thats not always so easy they need to get people aware that like leaving your phone chargers plugged in is a waste of energy and that boiling to much kettle water it a waste to

everyone is willing to help they just need to know what to do

  11. Yes

There are simple and workable solutions that can be started today.

Check out the wwf site and ask yourself, your neighbours, your government what they can do.
