some black people are mad because a white man played a black man in this movie. do they not remember the movie "white chicks"? two black men play white women. i just dont understand how that works.

I think its pretty funny,as long as he don't pass the line, you know. Murphy plays white dudes,but he don't cross the line.All of use  as a whole wants respect  xP.

Actually, More mentally challenged support groups have been bashing the movie for the use of the "R" word. Which I think, for one, I've heard worse words in R rated movies. So why is this movie causing such a fuss? I haven't heard many African complaining about the movie. According to some people representing them, they said the movie was non-offensive (In portrayal of a African-American played my Robert Downey Jr.), but rather worried it would lead to more offensive portrayals in the future. Which is my stance on the thing.

the only problem i've heard about people bashing the movie was that they used "Retarded" alot in it and people were offended because of other Mentally Disabled children etc

Eh, I don't know. I live in a city with an African American majority. Nobody walked out or seemed upset when I saw it, and I haven't heard anyone complaining about it.
