  1. Facts are facts, innuendos are innuendos.  Know what I mean Vern?

  2. indeed in am.

  3. Ha - yes.  I wonder what color the sky is in their world?

  4. yes, and i am sad  for who still believe this

  5. That isn't what they are saying, our government is too large and bloated with democrats looking for a free ride and draining our economy through ridiculous taxes, they would like to fix that

  6. I am not getting that message.  I am seeing that things are going wrong; however it is not the end of the world.  I am tired of the Democratic message that there is so much wrong that we just need more government to run our lives, because we are inept apparently.

  7. Are you completely oblivious to the whole oil drilling question?

  8. It's all they have; they're floundering! Status quo is the republican mantra.

  9. well, congress does have a dem majority these days...

  10. McCain said something is wrong!  He says the Democrats are trying to put a communist named Obama over on the American people.

  11. Not as much as the implicit Democrat message that everything is going wrong now.

  12. I dont think that's the message at all but you need to realize that we dont live in Bangladesh either..........see the good and be thankful for the good we do have. Dems are looking for heaven on earth and will overlook their roll in the things that are not going good

  13. We are at war.

The national debt is higher than ever.

    The trade deficit rises.

    Homes are in foreclosure.

    Banks are bankrupt.

Oil prices are at all-time highs

Bush is happy in his own little world.

  14. I am oh so tired of it, I used to consider myself a republican. It's easy for the powerful to continue to keep the apathetic blind until they become enlightened.

  15. " We don't think NOTHING is wrong now " Coming from a person who is voting for McCain/PALIR  lol Palir

McCains adminsitration chose Palin for all the wrong reasons and it should come back to haunt them in the end. The Republican party is so stupid its not even funny anymore. They think choosing a woman will lure Clinton supporters over to their side, even though Sarah Palin stands aganist everything that Hillary has stood up for her entire life. It's just insanity. John McCain will do anything to get into that office and destroy America, literally, probably with war. He's a crazed old man who is shellshoked and Republicans want this man defending our country. You know, I know people personally, as well as others, who know veterans who come back from wars and they are never the same. Even if it is a short period of time they're overseas for whatever war it was. They just are not the same mentally. John McCain was in a foreign prision. God only knows what truly went on in there and what John has done in his years serving this country. He obviously is not purely sane mentally. He is rich, out of touch, insane, and chose a woman with less than 2 years as a mere Governer a heart beat away from running this country if McCain were to pass away during his term. He had cancer, hes 72 years old. He can do at any moment. Thus, leaving Sarah Who?, to run our country during a time like this. It truly proves that the Republican party will do anything, ANYTHING, to get into that office once again, instead of really being concerned about who leads this country, what happens to this country. They don't care. Its like a big game to them and I think the Bush administration for the last 8 years has proven that fact. Its like, the left hand ( raises right hand ) is talkin to the right hand ( raises left hand ).

  16. We don't think that NOTHING is wrong now.

  17. Not everything is going wrong.

For example, if not for the 0 fiscal responsibility exhibited by the nation's banks in the past 2 years, we would not be in a economic slump,

Might I remind you, we are not in a recession, we have not had 2 negative quarters in a row.

Between 2000-2006 gas prices went up 50 cents.

Between 2006 and 2008 gas prices went up 2 dollars.

All whilst a democratic congress was in office.

Why is it that the economy starts losing steam when the democrats got in office?

I remember daily the DOW Jones industrial average hit new highs between 2000 and 2006

    Even with a deficit.

What President Bush has done with the economy is a miracle, he kept it afloat during a war, with a huge deficit.

Yet the democrats have to come in and ruin it, just so they can get a President elected.

    Sad..

President Bush did put forth bills to keep the economy going, but since they were proposed by Bush or "right wingers" the democrats shot them down immediately.

and Bill Clinton did not even run as good of an economy as Bush did.

  18. lmao i know what you mean.

nothing is going wrong and their candidates do no wrong.

  19. Yes I am, but not as tired as the 50 million with no health care insurance, not as tired as people on medicare who are in the "donut whole" and having to stop using medications they need, not as tired as the military who has been overworked and under paid in comparison to Halibut's mercenaries; not as tired as those who are losing jobs because companies are freely moving oversees to make the US worker compete with slave labor in China for 23 cents an hour; not as tired of those who have lost their homes to the economy or mortgage industries; not as tired as those that lost all their money to Enron and have Bush give him amnesty so his family could hang on to all the money he looted from Enron; not as tired as those in New Orleans still trying to rebuild the city 3 years after. Not as tired as tax payers paying for the war in Iraq while the government of Iraq has a $79 billion dollar surplus.

  20. I'm really tired of the explicit Democrat message that everything is going wrong. The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Unemployment went up a full percentage point, run for your liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiives! Aaaaahhhh! It's like Democrats want to believe the world is turning to c**p. Maybe 'cause it justifies their nanny-statism.

Yeah, life isn't perfect, and we're clearly going through slump, but until you've traveled around the world, you don't really realize how rich and secure our lives are.

  21. Ann Coulter: "Things are going swimmingly in Iraq". This is not implicit, it is extremely explicit.

Unfortunately, this and similar levels of stupidity/ignorance are not exclusive to the Republican Party. But to give the Republicans some credit, it is most often the commentators and pundits that send out that ridiculous message and not the politicians that make the decisions.

In a July 31, 2008 CNN poll, it found that 76% of Americans  think things are on the wrong track in this country. So obviously, the vast majority, Republican and Democrat, think there is a great deal that is wrong. As to whether or not I'm tired of this, it's not really anything new. This message is politics as usual. Each Presidential administration and its colleagues in the Senate and the House will always transmit the message, whether its true or false, that things are going swimmingly in the country, to borrow Coulter's infamous characterization.

Things could be much worse though. Most Americans seek perfection in their system of democracy, being either unaware or ignorant to the fact that this is impossible and that we have gotten as close as we possibly can. When you compare our situation in the United States to the situation of other countries, you start to see that there is more rights than wrongs going on in our country.
