i am amazed at some of the comments on here from welsh rugby supporters.... the arrogance beggers belief

they have beaten a poor england, and the 2 worse teams in the competition and think they are guaranteed to win the grand slam

the same applies to the heineken cup where luck of the draw allowed 2 welsh team in to the final 8

would the ospreys or blues have done better than the scarlets in a group with munster, wasps and clermont....???

I agree with the Heineken Cup comments, never had a decent club side. Wales will be beaten by Ireland and France and finish 4th where they belong! Not sure they are being arrogant, their media might, but the welsh squad are always fairly respectful and their fans good craic!

I am indeed tired of their moronic piffle. They arent a good rugby side, they have good players but not great and they cant compete at the top level.

Granted they beat England but to be fair they didnt beat England, England threw the game away. They have never proved themselves week in week out like other top teams. They only seem to beat the top teams occasionally and only if the top team puts in a bad performance. They have never dominated and swept away a quality opposition.

To be fair though it must suck to be welsh, so we should let them have this fantasy.

The Welsh when it comes to rugby have always been this way.  Even when they are losing they are very arrogant about it...I mean listen to Jonathan Davies after Wales have lost a bad game and you'll understand what I mean!!

Having said that, I think they deserve a little bit of credit for the fact that they have won their first 3 games in the 6nations.  Who cares how they won,or whether they were against a good side or not, winning is winning, and you'd probably be the same if Ireland had beaten France.

The Welsh have a pretty decent side at the moment, although their hooker had an awful game on Saturday, and they still can't decide who to have as fly half/scrum half: experience or youth??

I'm English, and am willing to support England when they're not playing well (granted that is a lot of the time) and when they are playing well too, but I've noticed some Welsh conveniently forget their bad spells (last two 6nations/world cup 07) and are still living in the glory days of JPR Williams!!  Mind, it's not as bad as the Scots I know, who are the most fickle supporters ever!!

The real thing that annoys me is that a lot of Welsh "fans" I have met at the rugby, down in Cardiff or at Twickers, have NO idea about the sport, they just watch it because it's the thing to do (a lot of my family down there are like this).

Anyway, in my long winded way, what I am saying is, yes the Welsh arrogance annoys me, but in some ways, I think we can allow them that...and who knows, if they lose to Ireland the weekend after next maybe you'll be the one on here bragging??
