I would never want to find out the answer to that question.  But it would have to be absolutely necessary to ensure the safety of my loved ones and the threat on their life or lives is was eliminated.

my whole house is weapons. if a guy breaks in, its going to be his worst nightmare...it will make saw 2 look like romper room..

You don't have to be tough to kill. You are hurting someone else and not yourself when you are killing...

I would if there was no other readily available option.

I would carry the guilt of killing another human being for the rest of my life though.....

Some of my dear friends have been in war before, and it was their job to kill the enemy. They still have nightmares and will wake up sweating in the middle of the night, but if they had chosen to be killed rather than kill, they would not be here to support and love their families.

So long as the victim is a child or a smaller person. I doubt I would win in a fair fight, and I certainly am not taking on any Goliaths.

No, I'm weak.  I'd fight to the death though for my children.
