  1. People that use their cell phones while driving are self absorbed morons and should be prosecuted for voluntary manslaughter after they kill someone.  Which they WILL do eventually.

Chances are they are yacking about NOTHING anyway and endangering everyone else in the process.

No conversation is THAT important, and if it is, pull the “F” off the road !

  2. Absolutely NOT.

There are WAYYYY too many people driving while cellularly impaired (DWCI) by mobile phones (and even cops do it).

Two major studies, one in the U.K. and another by American Insurance Companies, have shown that mobile phone users, INCLUDING HANDS FREE users, actually have LESS control and situational awareness than drivers who are LEGALLY INTOXICATED!!!  That is why I used the acronymn of DWCI.  That's what it is.

In Europe, they wisely used the U.K. study to make it illegal to use any cellular devices while driving.  GOOD FOR THEM.  THEY HAVE BRAINS.

In America, the study was quickly buried.  Politicians and lawyers are some of the largest mobile phone users, especially in their cars, so they didn't want to hear a thing about it.  Only in states where one of them lost a family member to a DWCI driver, that's when a law against mobile phone use in cars "suddenly" gets sponsored.

But, sadly, the answer to your question is, YES, most people feel communication is more important than safety, courtesy, and other people's lives.  And in some cases, even more important than their own lives.  It's sick, but it's true.

  3. safe driving is more important, that's why I have hands free equipment

  4. i use it.  there is also something called "hands-free" devices that you can use.

so, you are saying that you NEVER have driven down the street talking on your cell phone?  NEVER??

i use it, and never had a accident.

  5. i use it.

  6. If you have to talk,   be sure to use a hands-free device.   Otherwise,   shut-up and drive.

  7. Absolutely no...I hate people that chat on the cell when  they're driving. It's an accident waiting to happen.

  8. no i dont use it n one should even not use it, whenever there is a call for my father, n he is in car, he stops, and then only speaks. and i think thats a very gud thing a person should learn.

    wat do u think?

  9. no. i don't use it. once my friend was talking to someone on phone and crossing the road. and a vehicle was coming really fast. it just missed her. she would have met with an accident that day. she just missed it. her life was spared. thank God. u know by such little things our life could be in serious trouble sometimes.
