  1. YES

I like him and I also hope that he will be the good leader for USA and our world.

  2. Nope. I don't want him or Palin anywhere near the oval office. Not to take a cheap shot but her family is living proof that Abstinence only teachings DO NOT WORK. I'm sorry but if Bristol was on BC she wouldn't be a 17yr old unwed pregnant mother with a fiance who got her name inked on his ring finger.

Obama isn't perfect either but I'll take him any day over McCain. If he had picked someone else as his VP i would at least respect him but he played it to the fundies by selecting Palin.

ADD: My father, rest his soul, was also a nam vet and thought McCain was a Jacka$$

  3. "h**l NO...I DONT THINK HE HAS A BRAIN AT ALL. HE HAS A MONKEY FACE" I think this country need to break the chain. America is consist many culture and people. So...let other people have a chance. Do you think that's fair to have white president continuously??? I DONT THINK SO SWEETY.

  4. h**l no, I am opposed to all Republicans, and he's just another Bush is sheeps clothing.

I see what they have done to my country, and I hate so say, I'm not very happy with what I see around me.

Is any Amercian happy, with the way things have gone in the last eight years. Have they all ready forgotten all of those Scandals, the Republicans have commited.

  5. I am, because i believe he will deliver what he promised same as he has delivered on his promises since he was elected senator. Obama could have gotten my vote but he is more attracted to looking nice, sounding good and telling us all the beautiful rosie things we are dying to hear ... yet he has yet to tell us what he will concretely do and how he will achieve it.

Obama is like a beautiful singer with a great voice that sings a song which lyrics leads you no where.

McCain does not sing he has a horrible voice but when he tells you he will deliver ... he delivers. There might be no music to his lyrics but they don't need any as they are.

  6. The fact that he will keep our military in the Middle Eastern countries, where we are facing the most threats this nation has ever seen!!! Keeping the war in their country, not ours, fighting THEIR war! The Global War on terrorism is the main issue in my book. Without our American defense system in the region, we will have nothing to complain about. We wil not exist! The terrorists mission of World domination is a constant threat to our country.  More importantly,  I am confident that he will carry out the ideas he is proposing.  The democratic candidate will not be able to carry their promises out, because he is not experienced enough.  John McCain is determined and knows what's best for us.

The fact that he has served in the American Government and military for more than 35 years. He is well respected in the Senate for his achievements.

The fact that he is the son and grandson of high ranking officers of the American Naval Academy, who also served in the military to preserve what we now are enjoying...the United States of America and our FREEDOM.

The fact that he has chosen Sarah Palin as his Vice President, who is just as intelligent, just as hardworking and focused on the future of our country.  She is an American patriot, who demonstrates love for our country and people, and is very brave, courageous and experienced!  History is in the making, as she will be the first Vice President in our country!  I am very proud of that fact!

However, you should really take a good look and listen to the facts from each candidate and make your decision based on what they truly believe in, do a background check on them, see where they are coming from. I have done so myself, since the beginning of the campaign, and do not regret it at all. Good luck.

  7. No!

I don't agree with any of his policies!

    I am an Obama supporter!

  8. McCain has always been one of my American heros, but with his choice of an Evangelical, ultra-conservative VP candidate to appease the far right-wing GOP, he has sold out his moderate views to gain votes. Shame on him.

I will now vote for Obama/Biden even though he is really too liberal for my taste.

However, better a liberal administration concerned with personal freedoms than a repressive Ideological administration like the past 8 years.

  9. ~ I don't have the time to detail why I'm NOT voting for McCain, anyone that is voting for Obama knows why and would agree it is the best vote!

Number one reason is he is Republican and has Sarah as his VP, that is just a bad cocktail and I'm not a gun toting, tobacco chewing, kid popping redneck!

  10. You bet I am.  At times like this with the threats we have in the world, we need someone with McCain's experience.  He's got the proof as well, he supported the surge and we have better control of Iraq and less American troops are dying.  That's a fact.  The Democrats, and their most liberal and junior senator, wanted to bail on their troops.  And half of Americans agree with that.  I'm staying in for the good fight on this election.  But I'm like Michelle Obama, not that I'm not proud of my country, but I'm not proud of Americans any longer.

  11. Not.  I am a Viet Nam vet and have never heard any of us blow our own horn as much as this guy. Its one thing to be proud but its an entirely different thing to brag to the whole country about it. Makes me more ashamed. We were all just doing our job and so was he. None of the other former POW's sound like him, and many had it worse.

Give me all the thumbs down you want.

  12. No.  I appreciate the fact he served this country but I can not bring myself to vote in another Republican so closely affiliated with Bush.

  13. after that pathetic show tonight?

    PLEEEASE!!!

Come on, he could barely get his words out.

He can NOT run a country!

Sarah should be running, not John;  I wonder if it's too late to switch it to "Palin/McCain"?

  14. NO.  There are far too many reasons to list on YA.  I don't agree with anything he stands for and I think he and Palin run this country into the ground.  Even more so than Bush already has.

  15. I am a veteran (Vietnam Era) and Yes, I am going to vote for John McCain.  Why?   He has earned my respect to serve this country as its chief executive.  He has the experience, he has the courage, and he has suffered more than most people who call themselves Americans.  Despite what you may believe, he does not follow party lines as the Democrats infer.  He is a true Maverick.  He has a record of bi-partisan success in Congress.  Obama has none.  He (Obama) has spent more time campaigning for President, than he has in elected service to his country.  Shame on him for thinking that he is ready to lead.  Even I could do a better job than Obama, and I haven't even been a Community Organizer.  I do use an organizer, however, to help me be in the right place at the right time.  This isn't the right time for Obama, and I doubt it ever will.

  16. YES...YES....YES........I most definitely AM voting for McCain/Palin!!

So many reasons... FIRST, I must tell you this to think about:  "If I were going to ask someone to run my huge company, I sure would NOT want to ask someone that has had only 3 years experience such as Obama has had.  He talks and talks.....a super talker, but he NEVER truely tells us WHAT he is going to do, only that he is going to change "things".  Enough, on him.

Now for McCain:  YES!   We NEED, and it is critical that we have someone with "military experience".  With McCains background in military and a POW, he has had his shoes in that door for a very long time.  Palin is a perfect choice as VP with her strength to stand up to anyone!  Even her own party!  She and McCain can sweep out any ill persons in Washington D.C., and clean it up!

Also, Obama will put us UNDER with his tax plan!!  That is the wrong tactic!!   His tax and health plan ideas are NOT CLEAR, and they will put our country into heaping trouble if put into plan.  There are so so many middle class, hard working citizens that don't understand his plan well and are told he will do them good.  That is a huge mistake, and it's being overlooked, unfortunately.  It's aweful they are being steered and swayed into believing his lies.  Like I said, Obama is a sweet talker.....expert talker..........BUT, not a good deed doer.  Look out.

The Media LOVES to talk whether it is truth or lies..........that is Media business to make anything "exciting" just to get the attention of people, and those who easily give into believing it.  Like they say, "business is business".

There are more "morals" with McCain than with Obama.  These are big issues in our present society, and they involve "innocent children".

We need a very strong "experience" President with a strong VP.

Also, I watched both campaigns.  I noticed how much more "patriotic" McCain's campain was compared to Obama's campain.  If you didn't notice this, you may be interested in looking over them again.  They were visual and verbal such as .............."GOD bless America"!!

Be well now.  Let's all pray and hope for the very best for OUR Country.  It's about Our Country, First!

ADDITIONAL!!!!  ***Excellent and clear posts here from the McCain/Palin voters!!!   Not much "clear" understanding of on the Obama/biden side.....just worthless statements and comments***

  17. Nope.

    I am for Obama =D

  18. h**l NO.

Because we are already up to our necks in Bush's sh*t pile and if we're ever going to recover, we can't wait another four years to start the cleanup. I am SO with the dude above me. I straight up hate them. They are the reason societies commit genocide.

I can't believe some people are so blind that they would argue AGAINST socialized health care. There are little kids all over the place whose parents can't afford to take them to the doctor because it's a goddamned racket and it'll cost them half a week's pay which they can't afford. And these SCUMBAGS who are arguing against it work for the government and guess what? THEY ALL GET GOVERNMENT PROVIDED HEALTH CARE - YEAH. That's right. They make me FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. h**l Nah.

  20. I'm voting for McCain for many reasons. Barack Obama's tax plan is going to cripple this country. Never mind what he says about "saving the middle class". His healthcare plan will cost us dearly, you might as well be in Canada.

That statement about McCain siding with Bush isn't even true, the fact is McCain and Bush disagree on many things. That is just some half wit statement drawn up by the Obama campaign to connect McCain with Bush as much as possible. I'm not a huge fan of Bush's second term at all, but John McCain is not Bush.

McCain will not only keep us safe, but he will bring jobs in this country by cutting corporate taxes. Mark my word, you put Obama in office and we will be attacked within a year of his inauguraton.

Barack Obama is for g*y marriage, McCain is not.

Barack Obama is undecided on abortion, McCain is against it.

These are just a few reasons...

  21. I'm voting for McCain.  For many reasons- but the most prevalent one being that Obama is bad for this country.  His tax plan will cause only more hard ship on the hard-working middle class.  His plan for socialized medicine is abysmal.  He has no understanding of foreign policy.  He can't even make a speech without a teleprompter.

I must say, however, I find it interesting that the McCain voters have listed their reasons, plain and simple- look at the Obama voters listed here- foul language- denegrading the other side- name calling- mud slinging.  Makes me sure I'm voting for the right candidate.  When my candidates supporters and give their opinions and state facts without having to attack the opposite side.
