  1. i'm still fighting it.

  2. no, and i try my best not to because i cant change it..

  3. Quite the contrary.   It is more that my past is waging a war on me.   Just when I think I have finally put thigns to rest...when I think I have made my peace with things (And believe me 2 weeks of isolation, cheap wine, Barry Manilow, Air supply and Jim Croce was drastic but seemd to do the trick at the time), something, or someone, throws it all back in my face.   Moving on is NOT an option because there is no place for me to go.

I have a past that I can neither live up to nor live down, let alont excape from; a present that isn't worth ANY effor to maintain what-so-ever; and no future at all.

If it wasn't for my past consistantly waging war on me (and kicking my...well...you know...) on such a consitant basis...I would simply cease to exist, as though I had never been.   (another dream that shall never be mine either.)

  4. I am trying to learn from it.

  5. Yes more than no.  I tend to keep a lot of written material and forever comparing the past to now.  But i've stopped rereading my diaries - its brings me down and makes me crazy

  6. Not anymore - I gave myself a hug and moved on.

  7. No fighting..only accepting and thanking I learned from it

  8. both :)

I'm moving forwards, but my past is definitely a part of who I am, and a lot of my reactions to things are related to it... But like I said, I am definitely still moving forwards. Any issues it gives me (happens quite often) will be dealt with, and I will continue going!

  9. sometimes it comes back to bite me, but mostly I'm fighting fires in the present (literally)

  10. Ignore the past and it will return to haunt you
