It seems so obvious the liberals in the senate are talking out the sides of their jowls----do they think we are actually dumb enough to believe their side-stepping---it is an obvious offensive tactic to defend their insane blocking all attempts to drill in ANWR and off-shore----a position that is costing us dearly------they do NOT care about their constituents.

Well for one thing, we are the nation with all the natural resources, those politicians have everyone hoodwinked into thinking we are out of fuel, not true!! they want us dependent on foreign oil, so they can collect their big kickbacks!! and fancy nancy pelosi, is leading the circus, and all the rest of the animals, are in her cage!! when she cracks the whip, the all start telling lies!! its a nasty disease!! they all have in DC!!!

i think the dems in the Senate did exactly what they intended  to do, run out the clock.  i watched as they introduced 34 amendments that had nothing to do with one drop of oil.

the Dems want to keep prices hight as it is the government that benefits the most while we suffer. exxom made record profits true, but also paid over 61.7 Million to the government. after taxes and expenses, ExxonMobil runs on an 8% profit margin. this is far lower than Apple or Starbucks but no one is going ofter them for making profits. we had better watch out or we will see our companies flying overseas. oh another fact, ExxonMobile is the largest oil company in the US, but is 14 in the world market. so much for big 'evil' oil companies.

the dems answer to our oil crisis is to regulate the speulators.  fine, but we also need to drill and explore alternative energy sources while we do this.  our nation is dependent on oil and there is no way to  wean ourselves off it in the immediate future, so the only logical conclustion is to drill.  the mere mention of drilling would cause prices to drop as they have in the last week with just the mention of drilling debates in the Senate.  i expect Congress's approval rating to drop even lower than it has been over this debacle.

the House even turned out the lights on the Republicans and the Congress Police escorted out reporters.  how immature can they be.
