Are you with or against g*y marriage?

ok so now that g*y marriage is allowed i think that's nasty what about you don't get me wrong i want people to be happy but even in the bible it says that a man and a woman not a man and a man or a woman and a woman tell me ur opinion

I think its gross. But its a free country so they can do what ever they want. We shouldnt judge them.

The bible also said you could sell people into slavery. Not everything the bible says is right and remember, the bible was written thousands of years ago. Things change. By the way, I know plenty of people who were raised with same s*x parents and they are happy, and straight. I would also love to see my future sil and her girlfriend and one of my best friends get married because they deserve to be happy too.

i don't think it's nasty...i think that they should have the same options as anyone else. i know i wouldn't want any restrictions on how far i choose to take my relationship, it should be my choice...it's a god given right, but everyone is entitled to their opinions

It should be allowed, and personally I'm all for it (like religion-wise) but I don't think this should be a religious issue. It's a civil rights issue. We have freedom of religion, and who says that your religion is right, and why should it affect homosexual couples and their right to marriage? Our country was built on unalienable rights--life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness--that are promised to every man, no matter their race, gender,etc. They should have the same rights as a heterosexual couple to be recognized under law as a legal couple. On a national level, right now, if a person in a g*y partnership got in a car crash and went to the hospital, their partner would not be notified at all by the hospital. But if that same person was in a heterosexual partnership (and married, i.e. recognized by the government) their partner would be notified. And I think g*y/L*****n couples deserve that, as well as other rights that come with matrimony. I know some believe 'marriages is between a man & a woman' but we don't have to call it a marriage...how about a civil union? Just as long as they are equal to marriage status, and saw as that under law.

It doesn't affect you in any way...so even if you disagree, why do you have to ruin someone else's happiness because you disagree. I disagree with my best friend on tons of things, but I don't go and prevent her from acting on her beliefs, as long as they don't harm others. Christians don't rip the Star of David from Jews, and Jews don't take the cross from Christians. Accept others beliefs, and be courteous about it, please.

Anyways, just be glad that this couple wants to commit to each other for essentially 'better & worse'. Love is love, and gender does not change that. :) It's better than them sleeping around, right?

post scriptum; It really irks me that schools/businesses say in their non-discrimination policy that they won't account for 'gender, race, age, etc'...but it never mentions sexuality? Can't we accept our differences and move towards a peaceful future where we are true to the rights that our country fought for?

Ithink that its perfectly normal for a young girl (you) to be weirded out by it, expecially if you have been raised in a biased house hold.

Think of it this way.

It two men or two women live perfectly normal lives, just like you and me, and are kind caring individuals, dont you think that whatever higher power there is would want them to be happy?

Everyone has the right to be happy, and being g*y or a L*****n shouldnt be a sin in your eyes, they can't help themselves for what they love.

Everyone deserves to be loved, and have someone special. Some people just find their true other in the same s*x. Nothing wrong with that, in my eyes.

All this being said, im not g*y, or L*****n, but I do believe that if a woman happens to fall in love with another woman, its still just love.

I am against g*y marriage.  It is written in The Bible that homosexual relationships are an abomonation to The Lord.  God says we are to go forth and reproduce.  Same s*x marriages cannot reproduce.  That is only one of the reasons.

i worry about the children... everyone has the right to be with whoever they want to be with but... if they give rights to g*y people to get married then that means it's ok for them to adopt.. and i find that  to be disturbing for a child while he grows up.
