Her mother in law won't even vote for and says that she's not ready to be a VP. I mean my mother in law and I don't get along, but she would at least support me.

not to mention even the Republican officeholders in her own state mocked her...

  1. She does a little.  I don't believe that the GOP is going to win but if somehow lightning strikes twice (2004) and McCain and Palin do make it then yeah I'd have serious worries about her.  She has little to no experience on the worldwide stage and I'm sure when the story about her being picked broke most people said, "Who?"

McCain really chose poorly.  He wanted to stand out as his old maverick self but he's really showing that he's worried more about symbolism and popularity than about picking the best person for the job.  For the last 8 months he's been running from one end of the country to the other preaching that Obama isn't experienced enough and too young to be president.  So Barack picks Biden who can advise him on areas where he's weak and therefore help him run the country better

McCain, however, turns around and chooses someone who is even less expereienced on foreign matters and younger than Obama and now he's going to have to stand up and state he feels perfectly confident that she can take over and effectively run the country should he (in the perhaps highly likely event) die or become unable to remain as president.

  2. Wow! You guys are REALLY running scared now.

At least the other half of her ticket didn't go on the record saying she's unqualified (like Biden did in the primaries).

Sheesh. She's got more executive experience than the HEAD of the Democratic ticket. ... and maybe more than Biden as well ... I need to check some things.

And, yes, she took on the "old boy" network and made a lot of enemies in the Republican party. Biden has always helped enforce the party line which is what got him the nod form Obama's handlers.

Face it - The Dems are looking at another Dukakis showing ... or Mondale, even.

  3. LOL! Mothers In Law always hate daughters in Law even when they say they don't. As for her party, they are mad cause she made REPS in Alaska resign or change due to the corruption they were allowing. Just exactly what we need in DC.

  4. Her mother must be a typical white person.

  5. I'm not worried because I'm a democrat.  If I was a republican I would be worried because my candidate just threw away any slight chance he may possibly have.

  6. I think she's a joke.  I liked McCain, but he lost my vote with this flop.

  7. Her mother in law must be another who is googily-eyed over Obama

  8. Mccain who is unfit to lead did he choose her because she is the hottest governor or did he think with his little head and not his big head which was injured when he was in the military

  9. Yes she is a risky pick for McCain but she may be just what the need in Washington.  She can relate better with the common man and woman than either Obama, Biden or McCain.  Here is a person as far away as you can get from Washington and has very little in common with them.  Yes the idea of her becoming the President within the first two years is scary but Obama experience isn't any better and if the Democrats win he will become President in January.

  10. Well if you are worried about candidates familys (in laws at that) what about poor ol Barrys (oops Obama) brother sitting in a hut with no food or water? Wheres his HOPE and CHANGE?

  11. No.

Palin is the only candidate that supports banning the birth control pill.

It's worth noting that Gov.Palin is a member of "Feminists for Life", an organization with members that openly support outlawing all "non-abortifacient contraception" (anything that stops implantation of the fertilized egg). http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/ff...

Most women do not know that all BC pills kill  babies and here is how.

We may not be able to overturn Roe vs Wade but there is no constitutional right to the birth control pill.

As VP she could break a tie vote in the Senate, and explain this to the men in the Senate.

Since McCain's father did not live to 72 she will probably even be President.

  12. Very much!
