  1. I think Bush and the rest of his clowns are pushing Russia very hard.  But they are bluffing. They don't want war with Russia.

And I don't think Russia is going to be bluffed on Georgia.  This is all going on right on their doorstep.  Georgia used to be part of their country.

I think Bush is either going to make the US look totally impotent, or he is going to fumble (again), and accidentally set of a war this country can't afford, and which could even affect people like Dubya.

Either way, I don't it's good for our security.

But, as I've said before, the world's full of people who will stick their noses into things, until they get them cut off.

  2. You have got to be kidding! First we had a bunch of goofballs afraid of a little country like Iraq and now you are telling me Americans are dumb enough to be afraid of a teensy little country like Georgia?

It is Europe's oil and pipelines not ours! And they are the neighbors! What in the world are you talking about? Hopefully you are a kid.

  3. First of all, it shows Russia couldn't be trusted to start with.  Putin wants to bring back the old Soviet Union days back.  Georgia was the warning shot, now you know he's going to move to keep Ukraine from going to NATO.

Second, it shows how incompetent the United Nations is.  More hand-wringing and finger-pointing, but in the end they can't do anything.  Especially since Russia holds a veto on the Security Council.

Third, it shows the cowardice of the Europeans and even the Americans. We won't take a stand, and the Europeans naturally have their heads in the sand.

  4. Nope.

  5. Concerned?--definitely--Communism has never died and remember that Putin was the former head of the Russian KGB (like our CIA).  He is daily adding to the Russian arsenal of weapons and he wants to take back the Baltic States which are now free.  We are treatybound to come to Georgia's defense.

  6. I'm worried about the survival of the entire Western world after seeing the liberals embrace Russia on this issue despite obvious and immature propaganda put out by Russia.  Liberals worldwide work against the Western world, democracy and the very comfortable lives they live, just for the sake of being anti-American.  Yes, this conflict has made me very worried about the West's survival with so many enemies amongst us.

  7. Nope!

    Unless, we elect McCain!
