Just think if you were them and you were only on one pile of ice. The snow is melting and they are in trouble! I want to help them, do you? Here are pics of them at risk! :(

Tell me do you worry about the polar bears and if you do what do you plan on doing to save them? Here is a website where you can donate money and they will use the money to save global warming and the polar bears!

  1. yeah man this is terrible we should do more to help

  2. I want to save them so bad! And the penguins and all the other poor animals! This isn't their fault! It's ours...

Well I wanna get my parents to stop using the car so no pollution.

  3. consider the evidence supplied by the British Telegraph:

The world's oldest tree has been found in Sweden, a tenacious spruce that first took root just after the end of the last ice age, more than 9,500 years ago.

The tree has rewritten the history of the climate in the region, revealing that it was much warmer at that time and the ice had disappeared earlier than thought.

It had been thought that this region was still in the grip of the ice age but the tree shows it was much warmer, even than today, [Prof Leif Kullman at Umeå University] says.

“Spruces are the species that can best give us insight about climate change,” he says.

The summers 9,500 years ago were warmer than today

Hmmm. So, as a result of this find, we now know that summers in Sweden were not only much warmer 9,500 years ago than the consensus view used to be, but ALSO warmer than today...even after all that awful carbon dioxide that man has released into the atmosphere in the past couple of centuries.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports:

In the contiguous United States, the average winter temperature was 33.2°F (0.6°C), which was 0.2°F (0.1°C) above the 20th century average – yet still ranks as the coolest since 2001. It was the 54th coolest winter since national records began in 1895.

reported May 3, 2007 by the Christian Science Monitor:

global warming is not killing the polar bears of Canada's eastern Arctic, according to one ongoing study. Scheduled for release next year, it says the number of polar bears in the Davis Strait area of Canada's eastern Arctic – one of 19 polar bear populations worldwide – has grown to 2,100, up from 850 in the mid-1980s.

For those keeping score, that’s an almost 150 percent increase in two decades.

that wonderful picture of stranded polar bears on an ice floe that were used by folks like Al Gore to demonstrate how dire the man-made global warming issue is?

Well, ABC television in Australia, on a show called “Media Watch,” recently debunked the entire issue   It turns out the picture was taken in August, “when every year the fringes of the Arctic ice cap melt regardless of the wider effects of global warming.”

The photographer, Australian marine biology student Amanda Byrd, didn’t think the bears were in any jeopardy.

  4. It's a myth.... They are not endangered. Polar Bear population has exploded and there are more bears than ever. As for the shrinking environment for them...also a myth.

Global warming and global cooling is something that happens naturally. Ever hear of the ice age? Well, we are coming out of the ice age so that means warming is in the future. Once the temp peaks, we will start the cooling part of the cycle. There is nothing we can do to stop warming and cooling cycles.

The landscape changes, water levels change, as a result some animals have to adapt to survive while others flourish.

Things die while new things grow. Animals die while others evolve.

It's the natural cycle of earth. You can't change the intelligent design that God has created.

  5. You guys, they can take care of themselves! TV is trying to portray them as helpless animals on that little block of ice. Guess what? They can swim for miles! And "global warming" is not our fault. Are you guys saying that earth isn't aloud to change temperatures once in a while? It has existed MILLIONS... BILLIONS of years! WE, these small little creatures inhabiting the earth, CAN NOT AFFECT THE GLOBAL TEMPERATURE SO MUCH!
