  1. I am not worried as I fill my car every wednesday and I managed to fill it as normal this week so i should be able to get to work no problem.  I think though to avoid any repeat of 2000 they should defineitely ration it to say £15 a visit and not allow greedy motorists to fill containers as that is a sure way of running out.

  2. use less fuel, it is all you can do.

  3. If you worry, you panic - buy.

Ease up on travel if possible and buy fuel as normal

  4. Yes I am.

And would advise public not to be so Feckin Greedy, and give other motorists a Feckin look in at the petrol pumps.

    Thankyou.!!

  5. I drive less, I drive slower, I ride a motorcycle.  Looking to replace my van before winter with a 4 cylinder car.  I will use my bicycle for errands.  Can't ride the bicycle to work due to bad road conditions.  Just not safe to ride a bicycle.  That may change if gas gets to $5.00 US per gallon.  Just riding the motorcycle to work vs. my van has saved me $50 since March.  Also when I buy gas I look for the least expensive price.  That's about all I can do.

  6. Ignor it. It will have little if any impact as regards to you filling up your car etc.... The impact will be in your pocket.

  7. i hope it runs out and runs out fast!

  8. I,d get Jeremy Clarkeson to do a public information film "Drive a 5 litre car you know it makes sense, lets burn rubber".No I,m not worried, if the news hadn,t broadcast the fact that Grangemouth was shutting for a while you would have been none the wiser and there would be no idiotic panic buying which is causing the problem.
