Are your license like your credit report, after so long items just fall off?

I had some tickets from 1994 on my license are they still there or do they fall off?

  1. In California....

    Moving violations are usually cleared after three years.

    Failure to appear in court for any traffic violation will remain on the driving record for five years. Failure to appear in court for a DUI will remain on record for 10 years.

    So you should be all clear.


  2. yes traffic fines will fall off depending on state laws

  3. It all depends on what state you live in. Here in Georgia the longest MVR is 7 years. Anything older than seven years won't show. If you are looking to get a driving job or a job that requires an MVR, you should be good because those tickets are right at 14 years old and I am not aware of any state that has MVRs that go back that far.
