My mom has learned a lot in the past few years....but my dad is STUPID!!! he thinks he knows everything when in reality he doesn't know the difference between a TV or a computer moniter...

My parents are no longer with me and yes, (even tho they were not educated people) they were the smartest people I have ever known. They lived through the depression and they raised 6 children on nothing more than faith and a weak back. They knew how to survive when we had nothing to eat, nor any job to provide. They keep us warm, loved and together. They knew how to live off the land and used herbs as medication. We had our music and we had our faith in God. We didn't have fancy things and my Mother had nothing to work with to make out home fancy but we were happy. We were taught to love our neighbors and we were taught respect and morals. By todays thinking, they would be called rednecks and back woods idiots but in reality they are the roots of this nation and they are what we would have to have if our modern ideals and fancies failed us. We would be the idiots with all this college educations that wouldn't know how to survive if we were hit with a foreign bomb.

Yes my parents were smart because they had common sense which is something that is lacking today.

my dad is educated and smart -- math whizz --- sadly i didn't inherit that part of his genes... :P

my mom is less educated, but she is very witty! she can tell when someone's genuine or not, she can tell if i'm lying~~ she has a rich life experience in reading ppl :)

My father is well educated, so he's smart in that way, but not so much in other ways.

My mother isn't exactly book-smart... at all, but she's more of a motherly smart, which I'm thankful for.

When I was 16-18 my mother was the stupidest person I knew.  She never understood anything.  By the time I was 19-21 it was amazing how much smarter she got!  :)
