  1. Mine did.. nothing wrong with it. And no, just because you are in high school does not mean you are totally independent..

  2. THEY DON'T HAVE TO.  IT IS MADE FOR BOTH YOU AND THEM THOUGH.  SO, I'D MAKE EM.

  3. no

  4. Sure, as long as you don't make a big deal over it and draw attention.

  5. No.. get them to drop you off. YOU AND YOUR FRIEND you dont wanna be alone and lost. Believe me.

My school uses a bus and picks us up from our bus stop for orientation so its obvious im not suppose to bring my parents.

  6. It's different for all schools, to be on the safe side you can walk in with your parent and if there aren't any around they can always leave. i just had mine today and parents came, there was a family orientation, then kids went to get their schedule, books, check out the library and have Q & A while the parents had a parent orientation then left and came back 2 hours later. but like I said it's different everywhere you can bring a parent and if they are not needed they can always go.

  7. mine did why not u atleast want them to c and get a feel fr da schl no shame in dat

  8. NOOOOO

Unless it SPECIFICALLY says they should then no.

It's high school now, stop being so dependent.

  9. No, do not bring them.

  10. hey girl! i just had my freshman orientation today. my mom dropped me off and walked into the office to talk to some people but then she left right away with the other parents. then we got some speech by the principl and upperclassmen showed us where our lockers and classes and stuff were. i would say dont bring your parents at all but if your nervous you could bring them for the first few minutes. good luck!!!

  11. At my school parents have their own orientation. Freshman orientation is only for the freshman.

  12. well my school had a orientation before in June but we didn't need parents, though lots of parents came...And i have another one coming up and it says parents, students orientation so i gotta take my dad. I know its so weird my school has 2 freshmen orietation lol.

  13. You go buy yourself. I remember my first day of high school. It was very foreign. I also got lost for 3 days in a row and got real nervous and anxious when my teacher told me I would get a detention if I was late again. It seemed like I was the only lost one. You will get used to it.
