Yea area 51 is a real place. You can find it on google earth. No you can't go there unless you work there, it is notorious for its black ops and top secret information. So if aliens do exist on Earth then this is where they'd be. So if you don't work there then you probably shouldn't go near it, if you do ever find it.

Area 51 is a classified guarded location belonging to the U.S. government. Many black list projects and research projects are attributed to this area. A reason why people think aliens are in there is because since the area around the place is a desert the government can test out its prototypes in the open and provide the least amount of attraction of people, that may get in the way. Things that seem alien are just new government toys that are going for a test run. As for going there... a very bad  idea. The reason why non-military civilians never know what's inside is because the soldiers are required to kill anyone that approaches the vicinity. As for myself, I have never been there, but I know they have signs that warn about be shot to death for trespassing.
