Let R be the region in the first quadrant under the graph of

y = x / (x^2 + 2) for 0 <= x <= square root (6)

a. Find the area of R

b. If the line x = k divides R into two regions of equal area, what is the value of k?

c. What is the average value of y = x / (x^2 + 2) on [0, square root (6)]?

  1. by R do you mean the coordinates?

    because then heres my attempt:

    if that is true then y(x^2+2)=x...

    yeah, ok, I&#039;m sorry. This math is just above me.
