Question:

Arellano's career ruined?

Well we all know Arellano got called up to the selecion

for the practice sessions but my question is will this be

bad for his career? For example Landin a few years back had

a few good games and then everyone was like this guy

is young he has an amazing future ahead of him etc.. etc..

you know they over hyped him, Now look at him, people

make fun of him, call him a tronco say he has no bright future.

And can the same happen to Arellano? Last season he

wasn't a starter, barely played, only scored one goal and

now he has a few good games and he is rewarded with

a call up to the Selecion. They didn't need to call him

up with only a 3 day training session. I say make him

work for it have him become a leading scorer but

its late now but they can still stop calling him up

after this one and make him prove himself. I honestly

am a big fan of his so I don't want him to suffer

the same thing as Landin who I also admired but he

believed everything that was said about him

and stopped working as hard.

  1. landin had hugo and no other helpers

landin and arrellano now have eriksson who has help from tord gip, many contacts, and was successful in the attack through out his coaching carrer. he can help them be better in my opinion.

  2. landin just needs good coaching

  3. You dont really know what happened with Landin, so you shouldn't be talking about it.

Arellano has loads of skill, he's young and starts for Chivas...he is almost the face of Mexican forwards...when you play for Chivas its not like anyother team. Your thier out of every Mexican player in the league and starting, forcing Santana to be benched...not just any player can do that.

Arellano is not Landin, he has to compete for a spot at every training session and turn up immediate results. Otherwise Santana would be starting.

Landin was given the load at Morelia. He is there only card.

The pressure is diffrent and how they interpret it is diffrent.

Comparasions are stupid, you just cant put x vs x thing and expect a diffrence to be the same for each and every person.

  4. Who knows, it all depends on him if he let's it all go to his head. Yes Landin might not get his career back (hope he does) but there are also good examples like Bojan, Walcott, Villaluz, Pato, Vela and many others that got called up to their NT and they are still doing pretty good. So this all depends on him.

  5. I actually think that is pretty good he got called up, that way he can get a real chance to prove himself and show if he is all that people (Chivas fans) have been talking and admiring about the guy.

  6. well i think getting called up will show just how mature he really is and wether he's gona be something special or just another foward who may get a shot later on. We have mroe to gain then to lose if we call him up, so hopefully he does well.
