So naturally I am bitter toward your statement.   Alcohol and tobacco is also controled by human consumption. so again it is the human killing themselves. So before you make a stupid comment like you just did. Read the facts. Tobacco and Alcohal does not force anyone to put them in their mouth.  People do it because they want to. And yes I believe that a drunk drive who kills someone should be tried as a muderer.  As for the Guns. Not necessarily true! Alot of people in the GTA business actually believe that their products don't kill people. And even if they might be harmful, it's the person's choice to have the GTA around/ partake.

I'm not sure it's fair to lump alcohol with tobacco (I'll keep guns out of it).  In moderate quantities, alcohol actually has a health benefit.  Tobacco is just all bad.

Remember that tobacco use was ingrained in the culture before we even set foot in this country, and wasn't considered "dangerous" then.   Firearms were a necessary tool in settling this country, and still have some use.  Remember that you can kill folks with a baseball bat as well.  Alcohol, in moderation, does not kill (and may have some health benefit).    It seems to me that in a sense, it is how these products are USED that determines their lethality.
