Aren't the Presidency and Vice Presidency really jobs for men?

I thought that when I was in the army, back in the 60s. Not now, the Governor of Alaska proved my old thinking wrong.

I still think that we need real men , not wimpy lawyers, in those jobs.

The American middle class has produced a magnificent woman; an individual who will lead us through a changing world.

i think after everything obama went thru with hillary even though he didnt pick her...im wondering did he even consider another woman as his vp pick..cause my money is he didnt..and that just goes to show i think he was wrong

who says?  There is not much a man can do that a woman CAN'T and that includes run a country.....  actually, we've seen an awful lot of men who THOUGHT they could run the country but actually made it a lot worse by trying.   There is NOTHING that says a woman couldn't be president or vice president of this country or any other country.... MANY women in other countries HAVE become the president or prime minister of their respective countries without ANY problems,  running their countries as well, if not BETTER, then their male counterparts would have...   Women are NOT second class citizens.... we should be equal in every way to a man... equal pay, equal rights, equal job opportunities---and that INCLUDES being able to be elected President or Vice President....  just because the choices are few and far between does NOT mean that there is no woman out there who could run the country and do a GREAT JOB of it.....

If our country was in better shape - financially, socially, etc. I might give this a tiny bit of thought.  However, in light of the fact that men have always held these offices and the country is a mess - don't you think it is time for a change?
