Aren't the cities of America beautiful?

I love cities, especially New York. One can argue about it's appeal, but you cannot argue about its culture and history. Does anyone else agree that the cities and urban areas of this country would be such great places to live and visit, with their old world style, historic appeal and nostagia, if it weren't for the d**n cockroaches that have to breed there?

someone has a fear of cockroaches there everywhere not only in new york city.there in all city's and rural communities also.

you think new york is good, i challenge you to visit Chicago. I would say Chicago is the best city in the world, not only its amazing beauty, but its rich rich culture. Everything about Chicago is amazing and I think someone open-minded like you can appreciate that.

I live in New York. It's nothing great. Crime is very high.

Sorry, there's nothing old world style about New York or Chicago. If you go to Europe, or even New England or Quebec, you will see what old world style is.

Old world style and culture?  Obviously you haven't travelled outside of the US.  If you think about it, the US has only been around for barely over 200 years.  Look at Asia and Europe, which have thousands of years of history and culture.

as far as historical. Our cities are pretty young compared to most.
