Aren't the gas prices awesome?

Does anyone else love it when gas prices keep going up?!?!?! I don't have to pay it because I live in New York and I can just take the subway and buses everywhere and I don't even drive my car once a week and I love it when people keep complaining about this cuz it makes me feel good- muahahahaha!!!!!

hate them...im bout to pull out the ol' bicycle from back in my childhood years...and you know the real sad part is minium wage isnt much higher then what gas is a gallon..

u will luv it when they raise the bus fare up and then the food goes up and crime goes up  and people start too mug or rob u on the bus or everywhere  yup  very cool aint it?  gas is going too hurt alot people one day u wake up and u wont even have a job too go too. it's very cool aint it?

well keep on laughing cause everything else is getting more and more expensive for you and soon you'll start to see it to, nobody can avoid the high gas prices, we all gotta pay one way or another. Yes i drive my car around and pay $4.50 a gallon for gas, but there is a lack of public transport here, and other things aren't as expensive as in NY. So your probably paying more than i am, for housing and food and the like. hah.

the sad part is what would happen if there was a request or need for massive public transportation how would the cities handle it the already have problems with what they got.

yeah you might have the convenience of not having to take your car everywhere in order to live.  but dont forget that you live in New York.  cost of living in NY is far more expensive than anywhere else.  it evens out. MUAAHAHAHAHA!!!

But seriously! I dont like the gas prices! I mean subway costs money too! 2 dollars a ride can add up! Plus the cost of living in new york city is WAY more that any where else! So at the end of the day! We win!

I hear ya!  I drive around getting an average of 11mpg.  I LOVE the looks on people's faces when I tell them that..

Other person - "gas prices are high... blah blah blah"

Me - "Nah I don't really mind them"

Other person - "What?  Really?"

Me - "Yup.  What kind of fuel economy do you get?"

Other person - "I drive a 45mpg hybrid"

Me - "Oh, I drive an 11mpg track car"

Other person ' *leaves*

i have news for you if you think gas pric es are funny you try living in atl as a realtor with tons of clients who waht me to go back and forwards looking for houses 20 to 30 min. apart from each other.

Yeah well maybe you'll think it's awesome when you pay $10 for a loaf of bread too. Our economy is based more on the price of fuel  than gold. When fuel goes up, so will everything else. But you seem pretty bright, so I am sure you already understand that.

I know! Its so awesome that they are over 4 dollars a gallon! I remeber when they were about 1.50 a gallon and how everyone was freaking out how it was going to be getting close to 2 dollars!
