Aren't the "stars" in Dark Knight just wonderful people?

Heath Ledger was such a drug abuser, he found himself unable to reach the ripe old age of 30. Now we have Christian Bale arrested on assault charges. Wonder how much drugs/alcohol was involved.....any bets? These are sure the kind of losers I will pay money to see.

You're preaching to the wrong crowd.

Football players are frequently charged with drug crimes, violence crimes, and occasionally other crimes (dogfighting for example)

Singers/rock stars have the same problems.

The lead singer of creed fathered three children before graduating high school, was busted for drugs once (at least that I was aware of) and was once arrested for not paying child support (after he became a millionaire)

Are there celebrities that are well behaved? Yes there are some, but good behavior never gets a person into the news. Extraordinary behavior occasionally does, but mostly it's just bad behavior. Why? Because as a society of people who are generally miserable, we feel better when we see other people are doing poorly. If we look at Britney Spears life we can then look back at ourselves and feel better. Why? Because we're better than her? NO. Because it's easy to look at a person at their worst, and compare it to your average.

You're no better than the celebs of Dark Knight or any other celebs. The main reason you're not as poorly portrayed as them is either because you don't have the money to do the things they do, or because your evils are more internal. (evil thoughts and manipulation of other people and such.)

90% of Hollywood is either immoral or unethical.  Just look at all of the divorces as on example.

Acting is a hard job. If not handled well it can lead to family issues / disputes and even as you've said, drug use. Not everyone's perfect. through mistakes and as we learn from them, some of us hopefully turn out better than before.

Drug takers,People who sleep around etc are NOT my role models.

I will and did pay money to see them because they provide good entertainment. in reality their personal should not be my concern. if it weren't for crazed photographers invading their personal space we'd know nothing about them [the way it should be]

i've seen britney spears' backyard more times than my own

perhaps if I were trying to look at them as role models or try to be like them then it would be a diff story..
