Aren't women funny creatures when you've just had a baby!?

Question

I took my baby in to my workplace today so all the ladies could coo over him.

Everyone who said "oooooh don't you look well" were looking at my tummy while they were saying it! lol, I just said, well uhm, yeah he's not in there anymore huh!

Its like they expect you to be fat or something!

maybe they found that  you went down quicker then they did or are.

i said that to my friend who had a baby the month before. i said it only because she went down quicker then i thought.  the post partum woman i see, still look 8 months pregnant after a month. my friend was back to her normal size and she gained 60lbs during her pregnancy.

or maybe they just wanted to make you feel good about yourself.  so many people head straight to the baby and forget about the parents.

Yes we are a strange lot that's for sure I mean we fancy men lol, bet it annoyed one or two when you went back in after only a month and were back in shape.

Oh yeah!! There is this one larger woman where I work, and she kind of talks down to people..no she DOES talk down to peopl, and I remember when I was like 8 months, and I was like..Ohh I cant WAIT  to have my body back..and be able to see my pant line again!"

And she said, O no..you're big, you're just a big girl, you'll be big your whole life"

I thought it was rude, and strange seeing as though i started off as 5ft6 140 pounds. Now im 5ft6 (duh)lol 150 pounds.

ANd when I came back, she was like "well dont you look small, forget to eat lately."

I just said, no actually i kinda like GAVE BIRTH to my BABY!!

haha lol some people, just forget what it's like!!

and she';s a mother of 6..you'd think shed know!

Sounds like they were trying to compliment you.They think you look good after the baby.

lol many women seem to get enjoyment when people who looked lovely and had a good figure before put on weight, they proprably saw you when and thought 'dammmn shes hot again' lol they wanted to be the hottest women in the work place! haha x

Yep. I had both of mie early. My 2nd came 5 weeks early, so I had a head start on getting back into shape. People couldn't believe I was small again right after.
