  1. I'm always proud to be an American.  Having said that, I've never been happy with the way politics bash everything and everyone.  Obama may be a great president.  Color has nothing to do with it.  Wait and see, if he's elected, will he staff his committees with good people?   Will he propose good legislation?  Will he not do something stupid like invade Iran? We will know if our country has matured after a few months have passed after the inauguration.  No matter which candidate is elected.

  2. Oh my God ! Dude you are so stupid ! Just electing a black man isn't something to be proud of, he has to have values he has to have consistency and GASP ! patriotism. The same as any white or female candidate. O'bama has none of this.  I would love to see a  Black president. But not Barack O'bama he has no values and cannot debate because his entire campaign is ran on shallow trivial c**p ! He doesn't even pretend to be consistent and he is absolutely obsessed with race despite his insistence of being a trans-racial candidate. O'bama would be a huge mistake regardless of what any of the mindless millions that kneel at his feet may think.

  3. half breed. he's not there yet.

  4. No, what does the nomination to president of a black man have to do with me being proud?  With all of the ranting, name calling and attempt at racist guilt I am actually quite ashamed.  If the time came when people were able to speak and debate and people of all races are able to vote without saying that it's about time we had a black president or whatever, then I'd be proud.

  5. I just wish he were a better candidate.  I wish Condi would have run, but I think she's too intelligent to do that.

Honestly I think most Obama supporters just just want to say 'look what I did!  I voted for a black man!' so much that they are overlooking his obvious lack of substance and horrible policies when there is substance.  If Alan Keyes were there, I'd vote for a black man.  I may vote for him anyway.   Substance is more important than stardom.

  6. yeah!

  7. Way to count your chickens before they hatch. Obama is not president yet.

  8. Actually no. If people are voting for Obama because they think they are "maturing" America or because he is of mixed race, its a very very sad day for the country.

As MLK said a person should be judged by the CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER not the color of his skin.
