  1. No.

  2. No.  feelings come from the heart, where thoughts are of the mind.

  3. No, they are different!  Thoughts are mental activities, where as feelings can be said to come from the heart of a person.  Feelings reside next to emotions.  Humans have many different types of emotions (joy, sadness, bewilderment, curiosity, etc.)  The thoughts we have can be completely devoid of feelings, say, the way you think when you are in school and are in the middle of a test.  In that case you would have put your feelings aside while you complete the exam, and after the exam you might be laughing with your classmates at how easy that test was, or maybe you'd be depressed (another feeling) at how poorly you scored.

  4. Hmmm... No, I see a difference. See, it depends on the context, but overall you can have thoughts without having any particular emtoions about it.

  5. feelings are physical and thoughts are mental

  6. FEELINGS are different from THOUGHTS

Source of feeling is from HEART and our senses respond

    to them.

    Source of thought is mind

  7. First of all thoughts are are totally different then feelings. Feelings are something that you feel and you have to think about something before you feel it. Thoughts are just things that help you relize your feelings.

  8. no. you could be feeling one thing and thinking something completely different. eg. you could be thinking flying is great experience, and that planes are the safest vehilces ever etc. but your feelings would be more obvious- heart palpitations, trembling, etc. giving evidence of your fear which you're not openly acknowledging. thoughts can bring about feelings and vice versa but they're not always insync.

  9. Feelings are body awareness.

Your brain perceives the chemical response to stimuli and it the information is processed to form emotions.

Emotions are thoughts or rather perceptions yes.

  10. any single feeling has to be preceded by a thought...and vice versa.

but they are not the same ever.

    love

    Pluto

  11. No.

Emotions are resident in the centre of the brain. It is the self defence system.

Thoughts are part of the fore brain and is part of self awareness.

With the skills of emotional intelligence and Cognitive therapy you can change thus control all.

By the way the heart is just a pump, it has nothing to do with emotions except to respond by circulating blood quicker in an emergency.

I am appalled by the lack of knowledge about physiology and psychology.

  12. Your feelings are experienced in your entire body

Your thoughts are experienced inside your head

  13. different origin, different process path.

  14. Interelated....!!!

  15. No, they're not.

You FEEL happy. It's a reaction to something good. Usually your body reacts to it too. You THINK that what ever good happened is the greatest thing on earth.

For example. You're thinking about something that makes you mad. Thoughts like "Why did this have to happen? This sucks. I'm so going to kill whoever did this." come rushing into your head. Meanwhile, you feel angry. Your body might react to it. You know that you're not happy.

  16. Feelings and Thoughts, are separate things, as Mind and Heart are separate.

Yet,  for a feeling to be complete, thoughts should be included.

The same stands for Thoughts.  A thought cannot be complete if it has no feeling in it.

As Mind and Heart should cooperate for the benefit of each one of us.

  17. What you 'feel' is called feeling, and what you 'think' is called thoughts; usually they are so interlinked that they seem to go in unison, though when we relax enough, and become aware we can actually see the time lag between the two! First comes the feeling, an emotional response to a present situation, and then our mind or the ego responds to it, and a thought appears, “Hmm.. that was good or bad”.

So, with heighted awareness garnered through regular meditative regime; we can catch our mind, before it starts responding to the feeling in the habitual manner, and thus be able to break our mental patterns, when we can choose to respond the way  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€Â˜we’ want to, rather than reacting to an event.

  18. NO,,,you can control your THOUGHTS but you cant control  your FEELINGS....

  19. No.

Thoughts are individual charges in the brain. Firings of neurons and such.

A feeling is a brain-state. When you feel happy, ur brain is in a state of favorable balance between norepinepherine, seratonin, dopamine and a host of other natural chemicals in ur brain. Your thoughts, however, are just the charges sent back and forth between neurons within the realm of the brainstate.

The brainstate influences ur thoughts to make them positive (the chemicals are called neurotransmitters and they facilitate the neurons firing. I'm not an expert on this though so u can look into it more. Maybe i misunderstood). The thoughts can also influence ur brainstate because they act like a stimulus. So it can be a positive feedback loop of being in a good mood (feelings) and thinking nice thoughts because of that mood.

thats as much detail as i want to try out for today :]
