Ok I was thinking and were going to the future now. Were in a time machine if you will. Because a second from now is the future. Were never actually in the present because we continue to move to the future. And were not actually in the future because the future is always one second ahead of us. And we cant go to the past because the past is one second behind us. Where are we then? Not the past,Not the present,Not the future. What are we in? WE just keep moving. Were in a time machine now as we continue to move into the future. WOW see what happens when you think to much you come up with idead like this.

  1. Our one temporal dimension is qualitatively different from our (3 or 10) spatial dimensions.  Using words like 'traveling in time' doesn't change that.

  2. Time is an illusion.

It is as you perceive it to be, since time moves as you feel it to be. What you see as the present is actually a reflection of what happened a nanosecond to centuries ago depending on what you are seeing.

Think of yourself as a center of a universe, as you see further, you see further in the past. So in a way, you are THE present, the point you are on right now is your own present, and everything around has already passed, even the closest things are not as it is at that exact moment but a small fraction of a nanosecond ago. Light may be fast, but it is not instantaneous.

You, yourself, are in the present. If you are moving physically, you can say it fast enough, you can say where you are as you are there. E.g. I am at the mailbox, but that would have to be an instantaneous blurt, but it would still be accurate that you were there at that present moment.

Remember, you never ARE in the future.

By your logic if never being in the present, you are pretty much saying that you were never anywhere, and you are. So we certainly are in the present, the moment we call "the present" moves with us.

  3. depends on the event

    for example..u r eating a cake..for 10 min

after the first 5 mn..u r still eating the cake...even after a second....so it depends on the event tooo.

u r measuring time in seconds..i will do that in days..

    so...today is present..and i am in present!!!

so it depends on various factors!!

  4. This kinda stoner gibberish should really come under Philosophy rather than Physics.
