Argentina Road Trip?

I'm planning to fly in to Buenos Aires and then drive around the country... Any reccomendations on cities to stop in?

Go to Mendoza Rosario villa Constitution San Nickolas mar Del plat and ride up and down the river ! and get a cardinal bird they are pretty !

Best places to visit:

1) North East:

Iguazu Falls. Fantastic water falls, better than Niagara.

2) South:

Mar del Plata (large city , beach) Only 4 hours away

Bariloche (beautiful city, lakes, forest, ski, woods)

Esquel (beautiful mountains and lakes, ski)

Lago Argentino (lake, glacier)

Usuahia (very far south)

Peninsula Valdez (whales, penguins, sea lions, etc.)

3) North - West

Cordoba (nice hills, some exteme sports like paragliding, etc.)

Mendoza (wine country and mountains, ski)

Salta (great colonial city)

But consider doing some of these trips by bus (very good in Argentina, you can sleep on them) or plane, distances are large.

I'd go to San Juan, jujuy, salta and the North - by far the most interesting for a car trip.  Also Rio *****, mendoza and Neuquen.  It's pretty far from Buenos Aires to reach the interesting bits by the mountains through long stretches of empty flatlands
