Argentina versus Netherlands Rabo FIH Champions Trophy Finals: Players Ratings
It was the best performance from women’s hockey team of Netherlands that won the 6th title of the Champions Trophy and levelled the record with the Hockeyroos. They took Argentina by a single goal down in the penalty-shootout round and conquered
the mega event after four years.
Both the teams demonstrated outstanding performances in the first two halves and as well in the sudden-death overtime. The opening half of play belonged to Argentina (Las Leonas) in which they scored three goals, while holding opponent Netherlands only for
a solitary goal. However, the Dutch squad revved it up and had it all even in the second half of play. Both finalists took the game into the penalty-shootout round.
The Argentineans players were quite unimpressive in the penalty-shootout round. Due to lack of confidence, the players missed the chances. They all took the opportunities in same way and missed the chances to win the game and as well the title.
