Argentina vs. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Argentina-c2841 – Copa America 2011 (Part 1)
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Romero-c33100 – 8.0:
The Argentineans goal stopper gave out a man of the match performance for the Argentinean side. He made some http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitalô-c40903 saves to help the team stay in the game. Despite a poor performance given by both the centre backs, Romero was always on his toes to help save
the day for his side. He made three saves in the second half and frustrated the opposition to the extent that they started attempting from long range.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Zanetti-c18096 – 7.0:
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan star was switched to the left back position. Zanetti showed why experience matters in such games and he was pure class throughout the game. Both the centre backs failed to impress during the game but Zanetti was always present to help his
team in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904 and attack. Despite being 37 years old, he played the full match and didn’t lag behind even once.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022 – 7.0:
Showed why he was needed in the first team during the first match of the competition. Gave out a strong performance in the defence and was quite solid while making his runs forward. His first cross was well met by Lavezzi but the Colombian keeper was there
to punch it clear. With this performance, the Manchester City man will surely book his place in the first team.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-Milito-c14321 – 4.5:
He probably gave the worst defensive performance in the Copa http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390 2011 so far. He was wasteful and allowed the opponents to steal the ball away from him in crucial positions. One of his back pass was so weak that it couldn’t reach the goalkeeper and found
the Colombian striker. Burdisso was back to cover up but he almost gave away a penalty. The Colombians took advantage but couldn’t convert an open-goal opportunity and the Argentineans were simply lucky not to find themselves a goal down.
Nicolas Burdisso – 5.0:
Poor performance from the Argentinean centre back. Despite saving a goal with his “rash” diving, he managed to become Milito’s partner in crime during the second half when he passed the ball towards the Colombian striker and made him run alone towards the
goal. Romero was on his toes to save the day for his side. However, Burdisso was nothing close to how good he was in the first match of the tournament.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Mascherano-c18071 – 6.0:
The Argentinean http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 had a game he needs to forget. His tackles were simply all over the place. He gave out a stunning performance in the first match but the Colombians were just too quick for him. He was lucky enough not to receive a booking throughout
the game even though he fouled a lot of times. He did break play in the midfield but he was often found making reckless challenges to the opposition players.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Esteban-Cambiasso-c12912 – 6.0:
He couldn’t really produce much throughout the game. Playing in a centre midfield role he was expected to do wonders but the Inter Milan star wasn’t at his best throughout the game. One of his crosses seemed to be finding the net but the Colombian goalkeeper
Martins received it well and punched it to safety. Despite that cross there was nothing creative about Cambiasso’s game and that is the reason why he was substituted for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Gago-c13652 during the second half.
