http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 – 6.5:
The Palermo star was suggested by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 Armando Maradonna as a player who could change the cause of the game singlehandedly. The former Argentinean coach thought that Pastore was a fine midfielder and he definitely needed to be in the Argentinean midfield.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Defence-c38904 in the second,
Sergio Batista decided to introduce Javier Pastore in his place. The Palermo man looked to be better than Di Maria and often made outstanding attacks but he couldn’t really link up with Lionel Messi the way he was supposed to. Pastore looked to be frustrated
as the game continued for him and he took his shots on goal. He was confident on the ball and even though four of his shots couldn’t find the target, one of his volleyed efforts found Muslera’s safe hands.
Carlos Tevez – 4.0:
The want away Manchester City striker couldn’t really do what was expected from him. One of the reasons why he didn’t feature in the first team was because of his poor form with the Argentinean team and his poor link up play with Lionel Messi and the rest
of the attacking line up. Tevez was brought on during the 84th minute to replace Sergio Aguero, who didn’t seem to be at his best throughout the second half. With http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez coming on, it was expected that there will be more added energy in the
final third; however, he was one of the reasons why play was broken up front. He tried his luck on goal with a long ranged effort but he couldn’t really find the target. The Argentinean star had two great chances from outside of the box but he failed to convert
them. Carlos Tevez’s poor performance reflected during the penalty shoot outs as his penalty was the basic reason why the Argentineans lost the game 5-4 on penalties. Carlos Tevez went for power rather than placement and he struck Muslera’s palms as the Uruguayan
goalkeeper saved the day for his side.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodrigo-c31437 Biglia – 5.5:
Biglia was the player who replaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Gago-c13652 in extra time. Gago left the pitch after he got injured and Biglia replaced him perfectly the Argentineans were a man down when Biglia came on the pitch and midfield domination was important and with his body
strength he made sure that all those things are being carried out. Despite being an attack-minded player, Biglia was given a restricted centre midfield role because there were already too many http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Attackers-c38555 on the attack; Biglia was one of those players who were
supposed to cover up during the Uruguayan counter attacks, which looked to be threatening every time they made them.
