Argentina whitewash Chile in the second game by 4-0: Hockey News
The Argentinean hockey outfit managed a single-handed win over the Chilean counterparts by thrashing them with a tremendous 4-0 win in the second game, played yesterday. Argentina's Projection Group London 2012 has commenced this three-Test series that started
off on May 16 at Cenard in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The host team dominated the field since the opening minute of the match.
In the first half, Lucas Cammareri netted a shot on the second minute mark, opening the score with Argentina leading at 1-0. Soon another Argentinean forward, Alan Andino, contributed his part by advancing the team lead to 2-0.
It was Pablo Lombi whose training led the players to seal opening leads for the Argentina team. On the other hand, Chile hardly received two chances to score that were easily cleared by the team-in-lead. The first half closed with the scores at 2-0.
In the second half, Argentina was again found dominating with the ball possession throughout the rest of the 35-minute play. The other two goals were delivered by Cammareri and then by Nicolas De La Torre, getting the scores to 4-0, by the end of the second
half.
The host defender Matias Gonzalez commented upon the match by saying, "As obvious, the result was a decisive victory. However, during the game, at times we were not very fine. We made ​​many mistakes that cost us today not because we scored. But there are
