Argentinian friends, have you seen the movie "Buenos Aires 1977"? Were you living in Argentina at this period?

I saw the movie yesterday, and I was very shocked and traumatized by the violence of the militar secret police. It was a kind of "gestapo", and they were catching and torturing all the innocent persons (who were fighting for democracy) And I even cried at the end of the movie when Claudio and his friends managed to escape from the prison-house .

The actors seemed to be so real when they were acting !

This kind of story, based on true events, makes us understand that dictature is really an horrible thing.

I have never seen it I lived through that period (I was 6 years old!!) In Argentina and Chile (a little bit in Peru too) the military government killed lots of people, some innocent some not. Now a days, every one still remembers those fatal days, especially in Argentina where mothers still ask for justice. Let me tell you that the movie is just a pale reflect of what really happened. There are several books you can read about the subject which are even more terrifying.
