  1. i know it sounds make shift.. but till you find it use a heavy glass plate..

  2. Any cookware lid is fine (heat resistant) or if you intend using a dinner or glass plate, wrap it in foil first. The first time I used a flat baking tray.

  3. tin foil or a plate

  4. If you go to the manufactureres web site you can order a new lid.  I've done that.  2nd hand stores may have one as well.  In the meantime, good old tinfoil willl do the job.  Make sure it's on good and tight.

  5. try a heavy glass plate

or one of those oval shaped trays

  6. try a plate

  7. Try a cookie sheet.

  8. Just use other pot's lid...

One which is the same size..

And maybe if you can put something on top of it, so it really stands closed.

  9. I think that you could cover the top with a layer of plastic wrap and then a layer of foil.  I cook stuff  in the oven like this all the time.

  10. Do you have maybe a pasta pot that's about the same size? That's about the only thing I know of that would be about the same size and actually heavy enough that could actually work.

  11. I just use a glass plate
